Are HOA dues and golf membership the same thing?
No. Community association obligations and optional club memberships are separate. Confirm current HOA assessments, membership costs and available privileges directly with the association and club.
Where can I get the complete current CC&Rs?
Contact the Lahontan Community Association through the official contact link above. Crystal can help request the current documents for a specific property. A verified complete public CC&R packet is not linked here; obtain the recorded declaration and all amendments through the association or transaction disclosure process.
Can I remodel or build on a homesite?
Review the association’s current architectural process and requirements before committing to a design. The published 2011 design book is a starting reference; confirm subsequent changes and property-specific requirements with Design Review.

From I-80 to the gatehouse
From Interstate 80, take Highway 267 toward North Lake Tahoe, then turn onto Schaffer Mill Road near Truckee Tahoe Airport and follow it to the Lahontan gatehouse.
I-80 connects Truckee west toward Sacramento and the Bay Area, and east toward Reno. For a visit, coordinate community access with Crystal or your host.
